R-Just Aluminum Bumper Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ | Review

Today, there’s been a change of plans. We were going to have a tempered glass installation and discussion video, but….I failed. So instead you get to see my favorite bumper case for the Galaxy S8 by R-Just. I had this same case for my s7 edge and hoped that they’d make one for the Galaxy s8. They did, and I’m glad. Inside the packaging, you’ll find everything that you need for the install. One thing I’d like to see r-just do with this case is to include. Carbon fiber skin like what we get inside the Thor case. I’ve never gotten any scratches, but you never know, right! Installation is super easy. Jut unscrew the screws from the top and bottom, insert your phone and replace the screws. This time with 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. If you throw a nice theme on your phone, man can it be awesome! Talk about standing out. This case and the s8 were made for each other. I gotta say, I really like how this case looks and feels in the hand, but in order for me to get this look, there are some tradeoffs. (1) With this case, there will be some signal degradation in terms of wifi and cellular. It’s not much, but it’s here. You don’t notice or miss it though. (2) You’ll loose your ability to charge your phone wirelessly if you use this. For me it’s not a deal breaker, but those quick top offs are convenient though. I will be using this case, so I’ll have to make some adjustments on my nightstand an in my car, but I think it’s worth it. (3) The sides of the case are open, so you have no edge protection here. You’ll have to be careful. I usually am, so not an issue here. And with that, so there you have it. Overall, this was my go to case last year for my s7 edge and will now be my go to for my s8.
