We enjoyed experiencing "How the World Works" by watching the replica model trains running at the Bergün museum. The real train takes a 62-kilometre route. The Albula Line is considered a masterpiece in terms of railway engineering. The red train climbs over 1,000 metres in altitude – thanks to the Solis Viaduct, Landwasser Viaduct and the helical tunnels between Bergün and Preda. The model explains how this engineering feat was accomplished. The Albula Railway Club Bergün, (founded in 1986), is the builder and owner of the faithful replica of the Preda-Bergün line of the Rhaetian Railway in 1:87 scale (H0m). The layout is located in the local museum in the village centre and can be admired there. For more information https://www.berguen-filisur.graubuend... https://www.rhb.ch/en/leisure-travel-...
