28th International Conference on Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Information & Engineering Systems (KES 2024)Abstract Logistic planning process is an important element of the Logistics 4.0 concept. Complexity of this process generates numerous attempts to improve the process. In the literature there is a wide range of methods and software that supports logistic planning. These are mostly specialized tools that do not holistically cover the issue of logistic planning in terms of the Logistics 4.0 concept. This paper presents the issues of logistic planning and illustrates them on examples through the usage of computer programs like FlexSim and LOGPLANNER.
