Aerus (Electrolux) Fresh Era U162C Lightweight Upright Vacuum

Here, I'll be showing you my newly acquires and rare find, Aerus Fresh Era Upright Vacuum. This is a rare vacuum, and was a vacuum that was actually manufactured by Techtronic Industries (TTI), and was actually a rebadged Hoover Clean & Light (there was even a version made by Royal) with some design differences to make this almost a different model, but it's still mostly the same cleaner. This vacuum was made to compete with the Oreck XL lightweight vacuums (before TTI bought out Oreck), and there are some things on this vacuum that make it superior to the Oreck, for one, this has a much larger opening on the bag, and a slightly larger motor. This vacuum was in great condition when I got it, and there was nothing wrong with it, all it needed was a bag, and pretty soon it was up and running. It features a 4 amp motor with direct air design and takes Royal Type B bags (I believe Hoover Type A bags will fit, but I'm not too sure). The suction is not the best, the airflow is fantastic (so much, that it's hard to push on certain piles of carpet), but the agitation is decent, not the best since the bristles are very soft. My only complaint about this machine is for how low the performance is for these vacuums for how much they retail for brand new, I personally think it could be better, although it does leave good carpet lines (mostly from the side edge cleaning brushes on either side of the vacuum). Overall, this is a very nice vacuum to use, and does perform amazing, it's a shame this was discontinued after TTI bought Oreck, cause these were great machines.
