Mendeku Diskak aus dem Baskenland schreiben über Collaps das hier: "COLLAPS is a new band made up of some veterans in the German scene(s) and last year they released a demotape on the Berlin label SFR Hardcore that i played over and over again here at Mendeku HQ, one of my favourite demos of 2022 for sure. So here we are a few months later with the vinyl pressing of it! 4 tracks (plus an amazing and classy piano intro) of PUNK in capital letters. Other than that i find it sort of difficult to place them into a specific sub-category, sure it’s Punk with heavy influences from Oi! and Hardcore. but each of the 4 songs have a unique feel to it, diverse riff patterns and drum beats, blending all toghether under a blanket of rawness with that great “sand-paper” guitar tone. Nice lyrics with a touch of sarcasm and irony about daily life issues and other scene subjects." Ich wusste nur, daß ein spanischer Punk / Oi! Vinylsammler Collaps ewig gut fand und mir von denen vorgeschwärmt hatte und der Sänger von No Future mag die auch ewig. Sind wohl grad angesagt :) :D Spielen auch auf vielen Festivals das Jahr (u.a. auch auf dem Krach am Bach Festival usw.). Bei Collaps spielt und singt wohl auch der Gitarrist von Brutal Bravo (vielleicht auch von den Gewohnheitstrinkern (?), aber da kenn ich mich jetzt echt net aus (ja, anscheinend, könnte vom Foto her passen :D ha ha :D ). Und gestern konnte ich sie dann auch mal live sehen. Die Contra Records / Mendeku Diskak Vinylsammlerfraktion hat sich jedenfalls schon seit ein paar Wochen gefreut gehabt, daß Collaps last minute in Plauen mitspielen. Collaps war auch ziemlich früh dran um 18 Uhr irgendwas rum. Aber gut, sind ja last minute mit ins Line Up mit reingerutscht :D Bevor ich hier noch länger sinnlos weiterlaber, schauts Euch einfach an, wenn Ihr wollt. Collaps haben wohl schon n paar Sachen draußen auf Vinyl und Kassette :D Und Shirts gibts auch. Collaps played yesterday too :) As third band.
