These dogs are quite literally built different, they are so much needier and more affectionate than our malamutes. It's lovely comparison but sometimes can get too much when they are under you on the toilet or try to get in the shower with you following you everywhere haha. Buddy is no exception but the way he places his head on you to physically hug you in his way is just the most wholesome thing a dog can do! He is such an angel with the kids too! Here is an example of how he is never close enough and just tries to squeeze those last few inches closer all the time then rests his head on you! Harley's dog does the same almost, he physically sits on your lap if you sit down on the floor. These are classified as large breed dogs! thy are not lap dogs haha What's your experience of golden retriever love?
