During our interview, we discussed how it was filming on location in Thailand, working in the CGI environment, how he got into the business, and what his dream projects are. Brandon Slagle is an American filmmaker known for his work in the horror and thriller genres. He has directed and produced several independent films and worked on various aspects of filmmaking, including writing, editing, and cinematography. Some of his notable works include The Black Dahlia Haunting (2012), House of Manson (2014), Crossbreed (2019), and The Dawn (2019). The Flood, Starring Nicky Whelan, Casper Van Dien, and Louis Mandylor, joins Sheriff Jo Newman (Whelan) as she prepares her station for the forthcoming Hurricane Gustavo. A prison bus travels across Louisiana to transport some of the most sinister convicts, including a cop killer Russel Cody (Van Dien). As the storm rages on, the guards have limited options and must seek shelter in Sheriff Newman’s station. Unbeknownst to anyone, a group of slimy gators infiltrates the station, taking full advantage of the flood that is slowly creeping up on the Sheriff’s station.
