How to solve by elimination in grade 10 math

Welcome to the wonderful world of linear systems. In a linear system, you are tasked with finding the point of intersection (POI) of two lines. You can use one of three methods:(1) Graphing(2) Substitution(3) EliminationGraphing is the most direct method of finding the POI, however, it is also the most tedious and can lead you into hardships if you have lines intersecting at awkward (decimal) points. However, don't fret as there are two algebraic techniques that may be used in these moments. The method of elimination is one of those methods and it is discussed thoroughly in the video with the use of two examples. In the method of elimination, you are able to "eliminate" one of your variables using some simple algebra, leading you to determining your POI.
