Jaynen Rissling is the latest guest to join host Dan Kerry on The Nottingham Panthers' Audio Experience, in association with The Nottingham Building Society. The hulking defenceman was with the Panthers for the 2018/19 campaign and made a memorable impact throughout the Elite League thanks to his no-nonsense style of play, delivering some of the cleanest open ice hits the league has ever seen. Jaynen's take-no-prisoners approach to the game saw him incur the wrath of DoPS (Department of Player Safety) on more than one occasion and he gets into the frustrations of missing games after being labelled a "repeat offender", despite never being penalised for the same offence twice. The 18/19 roster was full of characters and there hilarious stories about the likes of Alex Guptill, Josh Tetlow (who was Jaynen's roomate), Adam Goodridge, Rick Strachan, Chris Stewart and more! Jaynen's year in Nottingham also saw the Panthers develop quite the rivalry with the Fife Flyers after several flashpoints between the teams, that culminated with the Panthers knocking Scotland's oldest team out of the playoffs, alongside higher profile rivalries with the Sheffield Steelers (something Jaynen compares with the NHL's Edmonton vs Calgary Rivalry) and Coventry and he gets into all the big moments from games against those teams.
