It's been a wild emotional roller coaster ride these last couple of weeks. With me trying to decide whether I was going to continue to support this team or not, or find a new team? I've gone back and forth on why I should and why I shouldn't. I hate the way #JohnFisher, and his puppet #DaveKaval, has been deteriorating this once amazing franchise to the ground. It saddens me to see what they have been doing to the team I love. They purposely get rid of our best and fan favorite players. And demand season ticket holders to pay more money for tickets and expect us to just be okay with the product that they're putting out on the field? While threatening to leave our town? I've sat back and watched this happen knowing that there's not much I can really do about it. Us fans in Oakland deserve better! Starting with an actual ownership who cares about the fans! I was set to not step foot in another A's game ever again after I heard the news of them agreeing to buy land in Vegas to move the team. It broke my heart to think I would need to watch my kid grow up without a home team. Not being able to take him to the stadium I grew up in to watch our beloved A's play. But I know that if I were to stop going all together it wouldn't be fair to Elias. We passed the Oakland Coliseum every single day when we take mom to work. He's always asking me to take him to a baseball game. Even though I was very conflicted on whether I should or not. I'm glad, that I put my hard feelings aside and decided to take my boy to his very first game. He loved it so much! I can tell he had fun today. Hell, even though I said I wasn't going to buy anything from this team ever again. it was heartbreaking thinking about walking out of that Stadium without buying him something. So we ended up buying him a new A's jersey and a bat and ball set! I'm going to continue to take him to A's games as long as I can. Not because I want to support this douchebag of an owner! But, because I want to see my boy grow up in the same stadium I grew up in. Cheering for our OAKLAND A'S!
