From Concept to Canvas// Zodiac Series// Pisces

Hello friends! Welcome to the first painting in my new Zodiac series. In this video, I am painting my version of Pisces. I explain my thoughts from concept to canvas. I have wanted to paint the signs of the zodiac for a while now. However, I wanted them to be unique in their design while also being more subtle with their implication of the sign they represent. In other words, I don't want the paintings to scream ZODIAC! I used a limited palette for the entire painting. I haven't done that in quite some time. I had forgotten how many colors can be made with so few tubes of paint! This was a good reminder that sometimes less is more. I am really pleased with the outcome of this piece. There are a few areas (the hands) that still need a tiny bit of refinement, but that will have to wait until the paint dries. I hope you enjoyed the video!
