We all love big block Mopar’s and we would all love to have an engine that makes over 700 hp. Many guys are scared with stock blocks to push much past that. Rather than buying an aftermarket block, you can find yourself an awesome 230 casting 400 block. However, there is a sneaky imposter out there. Typically, guys ask more money for their 230 casting that has the nice beefy main webs. But with some of the shady activity going on on marketplace these days, YOU could absolutely be sold an imposter 230 casting and not know it until it ended up on your doorstep. Hopefully, this video helps someone out there be able to spot the quick differences and checking the date codes for the block.
