He is also a Oglala Lakota spiritual advisor, whose ancestral lands are outlined in the 1851 and 1868 "Treaty of Fort Laramie", signed by the Oceti Sawokin, in the territory known, as South Dakota. Chief Lee Plenty Wolf currently resides in Boulder, Colorado, where he is the ex officio spiritual advisor for the White Horse Creek Council, which organizes community based spiritual and cultural preservation activities. He is also the spiritual advisor for the organizing committee of the Boulder Valley Indigenous People’s Day, Pow Wow and Parade. Chief Lee has been offering spiritual support, through the sweat lodge to many people, for upwards of 30 years. For 21 years, he has assisted in conducting Sundances and he has conducted the Plenty Wolf Sundance for 9 years, in Manderson, South Dakota.
