New laser pointer review!, testing & comparisons with other lasers, on this occasion I finally complete my +1W quartet with a 465nm a lighter blue than the common 450nm one with an insane power of 3000mW. Info & Opinion: -The 465nm bright blue color when I saw it for the first time I was surprised but I discovered later that I was exposed to it every day because of the small LEDs in the devices. 465nm is something lighter, closer to a sky blue but not cyan, (can be perfectly distinguished from a 488nm) the differences with a 450nm are not very far but can be appreciated without much effort. Sometimes there is some confusion with these colors, especially with my Christmas decoration lights at 2:02 they only sold them in a 450nm neutral blue, there were no other blue options, the AliExpress store sold them massively and the designers probably didn't bother to read what NM had the blue LEDs that they introduced when making them. -It is very bright, has a great burning capacity but its divergence is poor, again the outstanding rectangle like the 1W 638nmbut this one is smaller so its use is less uncomfortable. Visibility is a humiliation compared to the typical 50-100mW greens like 303, and of its wavelength it is more noticeable than normal 450nm. The price is quite affordable (actually ~$140 USD) [I used a discount coupon in November and that's why I got it for about $105], compared to others over $200 that offer similar quality and features. A price that makes sense to me since 3W 465nm diodes are around $35-60 on ebay without further complications. In this video I have use filters to to convert the color as close as possible to what one sees in real life because we know that cameras sensors lies. My cell phone Moto G50 captures both blues equally. For filters, use the Secondary Color Corrector in the Vegas effects section. To find and buy Laser search the model 465T-3000 or 465T-3500, on ebay there are more links currently available. Battery Required and Direction: Required 1x18650 (flat top doesn't matter) Direction: Positive '+' to spring and the Negative '-' to tail top.
