According to Additional DCP (Crime Branch) Rajesh Dandotiya, the team’s security officers filed a complaint immediately after the incident. Following an intensive investigation, police arrested the accused, identified as Aqueel, a resident of Azadnagar. The accused has been charged under Sections 74 and 78 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Authorities are also reviewing possible lapses in the security arrangements for the visiting team.
