Oscar Piastri not only took the pole for McLaren-Mercedes in Bahrain but also he beat his team-mate, Lando Norris, by nearly half a second. With Norris thus starting down in P6, behind George Russell (Mercedes), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine-Renault), the race for Piastri should be a walk in the park.
