Epic Universe’s Secret Weakness: The Rain 🌧️

🌧️ Epic Universe has a major weakness—and I found out the hard way. I went on a rainy day, and here’s the truth: Epic Universe is not built for bad weather. Epic is an amazing theme park, but it becomes extremely limited in the rain. Out of the 11 rides, 8 are outdoors and can shut down in the rain—including big ones like Donkey Kong, Stardust Racers, and Hiccups Winged Gliders. Even Yoshi and the carousel closed due to the weather. Only three major rides are fully indoors: 🧟‍♂️ Monsters Unchained 🏎️ Mario Kart 🪄 Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry There are two indoor shows—but even those got delayed due to weather when I visited. To make it worse, the park has very little overhead cover, especially in Celestial Park. Plus, as I’ve covered in other videos, Epic Universe has a ton of stairs. These were slick all day, both inside and outside. Plus, the concrete in the lands can be dicey to navigate as well. So here’s my advice: If the forecast just calls for a quick afternoon storm, it’s no big deal. But if the forecast shows rain all day, consider picking another park and saving Epic Universe for a sunnier day. Because right now, rain turns this incredible park into a rough experience.
