#tabla #percussion #instrumental #darbarfestival Enjoy this music piece? You can WATCH THE FULL VIDEO HERE –https://bit.ly/3Aufh47 The Darbar team presents the ‘best tabla moments’ from the singing tabla of Satyajit Talwalkar - expect no less when you are listening to Talwalkar, for your perceptions about a percussion instrument are going to change forever. Darbar has put together some of the most inspiring moments on Talwalkar’s tabla from this concert, where he had accompanied Venkatesh Kumar singing Raag Multani. These are snippets – moments that will set fire to your imagination - from a composition set to a rhythmic cycle of 10 beats (Jhaptaal) that was performed at the King’s Place in London at the Darbar Festival 2010. Satyajit stands true to his training from his father, Pandit Suresh Talwalkar, as he demonstrates the vocal nuances of the composition and its improvisation on his tabla, complimenting the vocalist in the most amiable way an accompanist can. This characteristic in the tabla accompaniment of the Talwalkars is a landmark, a signature which you can expect none other than Satyajit to live up to.
