What's "rich" brown noise you're probably asking — well it's a combination of smooth and deep brown noise. This specific mix of brown noise is a layered combination of a very smoothed version combined with a bass-boosted one. So I hope your speakers can handle those lower frequencies! (I really need to start testing those lows on smartphone speakers—because on my older iPhone speakers, they don't always sound the best.) And what's "wavy" white noise? Exactly what you'd expect probably haha. It's going to sound like waves in the distance as it subtly changes volume. I need to emphasize "subtle" here as you have to listen for it—I personally like it because I find myself listening for it, all the while that rich brown massages my brain and turns off all that thinking. Alas, I hope you enjoy it. This is 10 hours of Brown Noise with White Noise with a black screen so it's perfect for sleeping. I hope it gives you some much needed relaxation! ABOUT MY CHANNEL: Here's my philosophy when it comes to noises: what one person likes, will not be the same as another even if the difference is subtle. Some like more bass and a deeper sound, whereas others might like a little more hiss or a hollow white noise. It's not for me to judge! I just want to help people by helping them discover a sound that works for them. A sound that can help them either focus or sleep or whatever. I like to combine noises. I am not an audio engineer, just a tinkerer. I usually just play around with combining noise, adding filters, fiddling with the EQ until I find something I either like, or create something that someone else might. Brown noise is a neutral, and compact sound that has all the frequencies that our ears can detect. It's easiest to think of red noise like white noise but it has a lower, deeper quality. More warming to the brain and mind when listening vs. the higher pitched white noise. Think of it as a low rumbling waterfall in the distance. What does Brown Noise do? Brown (or Red noise) can have many positive impacts in the brain. Some studies suggest that it helps people fall asleep and achieve a longer lasting one at that! It is also thought that brown noise can have a beneficial effect on people who have ADHD and that it may help calm their mind. Other studies have suggested that it can be useful for concentration and memory, although this might be a causal relationship with improved sleeping. What is White Noise? White noise is a noise that contains all the frequencies across the spectrum of sounds a human can hear in equal measure. Because of this, it spans multiple bands of sound. You might also hear it referred to as "broadband" noise. It kind of sounds like the static that comes from a tv when you don't have any channels. Maybe younger generation doesn't remember that haha. What are the benefits of White Noise? Researchers are interested in the effects of white noise on humans. They have studied it for many years. Studies have found evidence that it can reduce crying in infants, improve work performance, and might even help counteract symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) — which is something I know all about as I was diagnosed with that as an adult. White noise definitely helps me with that! Getting more focused. Do note, all my sounds are meant for entertainment purposes. The healing must come from within.
