The series highlights artists working across rock, alternative, and genre-defying sound, connecting contemporary work to the deep lineage that shaped American music. Episode 3 features D’yshe Mansfield, a vocalist and multidisciplinary artist whose creative practice spans music, acting, directing, photography, and community care. In this session, D’yshe reflects on discovering rock music as a space of freedom and experimentation, drawing inspiration from church, family, classical music, and lived experience.
