🟠🟠🟠 NOTICE 🔴🔴🔴 I give the timing belt OEM number for the higher serial Numbers WRONG, The CORRECT Part Number is M150717. The deck belt IS part number M128733 as represented. Also the enguagement rod installs with the spring on top. Next time my belt breaks I will make a new video. Sorry about the production errors. 🟠🟠🟠 NOTICE 🔴🔴🔴 This video covers the removal and installation of the belts on a Freedom 42 John Deere Mulching Deck installed on either the LT-155 & 166. The primary belt drives the deck, while the Secondary Belt is a timed to keep the cutting blades at a 90 degree angle from each other. The Freedom Deck is made to mulch the grass and leave no uncut blades in the middle. The repair of both belts requires some taking apart, but can be done with a little patience.
