In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet this newborn Baby boy alpine stitch layette set that’s very easy to make. We will start with this simply adorable alpine stitch crochet cardigan, crochet sweater, crochet baby jacket, crochet coat or crochet matinee jacket for baby boy and baby girls from 6 to 9 months. You can also make this crochet set for girls just make sure you make the button holes in the correct side. Also, If you want to make it for 3-6 month baby just use a 3mm crochet hook with light #3 baby yarn. For 9-12 months use baby yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook. For this crochet baby alpine stitch matinee coat crochet tutorial I used Bernat baby sports yarn in the color blue and white with a 3.5 mm crochet hook. I used about 155 grams of yarn for the crochet baby jacket.
