In this passage we see: • Abraham acting out of fear • A repeated deception • God intervening to protect His promise • Accountability and correction This chapter reminds us that even those who walk with God can stumble. Fear can cloud faith. Yet even in human weakness, God remains faithful to His covenant. Genesis 20 shows both the seriousness of deception and the mercy of God in preserving His purposes.
