Because of this, if the chemicals in these pods get in your child's eyes or skin, it can cause serious chemical burns and damage. It's important to read the label and see if your cleaning material has these ingredients: ammonia, antibacterials, chlorine bleach, petroleum solvents or phosphates. If your child has been in contact with any of these chemicals, be sure to rinse in water for about 20 minutes, then take them to the emergency room. If ingested, it's important to not make them vomit, since the chemicals can damage the esophagus.
