Buell 1125R and Ducati 848 at Nelson Ledges Road Course

Nelson Ledges Road Course, Ohio, July 29, 2018 (3 p.m. Intermediate Session). Join me on my 2009 Ducati 848 and Mike on his 2008 Buell 1125R for a few laps around Nelson Ledges Road Course. I dropped down from the Advance Group to check Mike out and to get footage for this video. The session was cut short due to rain, but we had a great time while we were out on the track. Some of you may recognize Mike: He's the rider that I recorded at this same circuit back in 2013 tracking his 1973 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL. I still haven't figured out how he rides that beast around the track! On his Buell, on this particular track weekend, he was one of the faster Intermediate riders. I'd say Mike will be ready for the Advance Riding Group very soon! Finally, those of you who follow motorcycle industry news, know that Harley-Davidson just announced some new models, including a new v-twin sportbike (975cc streetfighter), that will be available in 2020.
