Snugpak Jungle Blanket Stats : Materials : Microdiamond Shell top - water repellant SuperSoft lining - moisture wicking Travelsoft Insulation - retains heat even when wet - easily washable Treatment : The outer shell and the inner lining has been treated with a Paratex antibacterial treatment - this discourages the growth of bacterial which means you don’t have to wash the blanket as often as you would with similar products. Temperature rating : The company claims that the blanket is dual rated for 45F and 36F. I’m not entirely sure what this means exactly and they don’t state - my advice is to use this blanket with regular clothing - socks, pants, shirt, with temps down to 55f. At 55F and above most people are going to be comfortable unless you are someone who runs cold. You will also need a good r-value sleeping pad for cold weather camping to be comfortable.
