Released for the 15th of Shabaan, "Al Ajal, Oh My Imam" is a supplication and declaration of longing for Imam al-Mahdi (عج), written from the perspective of a believer waiting in hope, love, and devotion. The piece weaves prayer with poetry, echoing the centuries-old cry of Al Ajal, a plea not only for reappearance, but for guidance, justice, and nearness. Through imagery of light overcoming darkness, the lyrics draw inspiration from the Ahlulbayt (ع), reflecting their qualities in moments of struggle, humility, and steadfast faith. The Imam is portrayed as both present and unseen. Felt in the soul, yet awaited by the eyes. Each verse carries the weight of yearning, brotherhood, and readiness: to stand, to sacrifice, and to answer the call when it comes. At its core, this piece is about waiting with purpose. It honors the believers who walk together, who lift one another like a wall, and who prepare themselves spiritually for the day when the divine call echoes from the heavens. Al Ajal, Oh My Imam is not only a song of anticipation, but a reminder that faith, patience, and unity are themselves acts of allegiance. May this nasheed/ode be a prayer on the tongue and a hope in the heart of all the believers until the day our eyes finally see what our souls already know. [LYRICS] Al ajal oh my Imam, now it’s time for you to come I know you are here with me, but my eyes still long to see Al ajal, oh my Imam, begs my heart, screams my tongue You can see, I’m in need, for my soul you’re Ali Through the darkness, like the sun, light the world up like Hasan Take my hand, help me stand, in my eyes you’re Hussain When you come, I won’t blink, I won’t even stop to think Watch me fly, through the sky, just to be by your side Al ajal oh my Imam, now it’s time for you to come I know you are here with me, but my eyes still long to see When you come, you will see, side by side, in front of me All the brothers, in my faith, on a pathway that they paved One’s a soldier, one’s a sage, one’s a lover, one’s a slave They would walk, I would crawl, but they raised me like a wall Unafraid, unashamed, on the front lines add my name Sword in hand, with my lance, Oh Imam give me chance Al ajal oh my Imam, now it’s time for you to come I know you are here with me, but my eyes still long to see We will wait, we will pray, for the moment on the day When the caller, calls aloud, from the heavens to the ground All creation, large and small, will be witness to the call That will be, our Ghadeer, we will come from far and near Quench our thirst, we’ll be first, let the tyrants do their worst You’ll be proud, not of me, but of all the mo’mineen Al ajal oh my Imam, now it’s time for you to come I know you are here with me, but my eyes still long to see #imammehdi #mahdi #15shaban #englishnasheed #manqabat #halalmusic #english #ahlulbayt #mahdi #messiah #مهدي #امام_مهدي #امام_زمان ------------------------------- Title: Al Ajal, Oh My Imam Artist: Muhammad Sajjad Produced & Performed by: Muhammad Sajjad Written by: Ali Abedi Mixed & Mastered by: Ali Hashim © 2026 [Muhammad Sajjad].
