On Monday, March 21, 2022, a Boeing 737-800 departed from Kunming (ZPPP/KMG) bound for Guangzhou (ZGGG/CAN). Approaching the top of descent, the aircraft entered a sudden steep descent from 29,100 feet, and crashed in China’s Teng County. All 132 occupants perished in the accident.
