Shot in anamorphic format with natural cinematic color correction, this video offers a peaceful, immersive experience with real trail sounds and no added music. Whether you're into virtual hiking, looking to relax, or just want to enjoy a sunny day hike in the Pacific Northwest, this nature walk captures the beauty of Washington’s outdoors. Perfect for relaxation, focus, or a calm virtual escape with Misha on the trail. The May Valley Loop Trail is located in Squak Mountain State Park near Issaquah, Washington. It’s a 3.3-mile loop with a moderate incline, making it accessible for most hikers year-round. The trail runs through second-growth forest, with Douglas fir, bigleaf maple, and dense underbrush. It's part of the larger Issaquah Alps trail system, which connects to Cougar and Tiger Mountains. The area has a history of logging, and old roadbeds and remnants of past use can still be seen along the trail. It's a quiet spot, especially in winter, with fewer crowds and a good chance to see local wildlife. This video was filmed on February 12, 2025, by Roman Khomlyak and features hiker Misha on the May Valley Loop Trail in Issaquah, Washington. Roman used the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to capture both wide and stabilized shots. Filmed with SLR Magic 35mm, 50mm, and 70mm anamorphic lenses, the video has a true cinematic widescreen look. The footage was finished with natural cinematic color correction to keep the tones realistic while enhancing the overall look. All visuals and sound were recorded on location, with no added effects—just the real trail as it was.
