The first thing I did with this tool is blow my breaker. After purchasing a 1970’s Rockwell/Delta Uniplane, I needed to bring it back to life so I could use it in my shop. This video touches on the 6 steps I took to restore it. These steps apply not only to the Uniplane but most other power tools in a shop. Steps for Restoration 1. Check face flatness 2. Check for accuracy of depth gauge 3. Check for accuracy of angle measurements 4. Replace/reset the cutter head teeth 5. Check the condition in the cabinet and of the belt 6. Preventative maintenance Thanks as always, be safe, and happy woodworking!
