Yes, these lights are dimmable the control gear is optional depending on your needs. Are these lights suitable in areas where there's dust, moisture, particles in the air and or direct contact with water say from a leaky roof or spray from a machine? Yes, the Climate Non-Corrosive range of lights carries an IP65 rating, meaning they will work in areas where dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction are a concern. What types of installations would Luceco's Climate Non-Corrosive luminaires be used in? These luminaires are perfect for many different types of installations but you would typically see them used in Warehouses, Garages, Barns, Workshops, Storage Units, Factories, and just about any indoor environment that needs good lighting and is at risk of atmospheric changes such as dust, moisture, particle ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. What are they made from? Our Climate Non-Corrosive Luminaires are made from a tough Polycarbonate (PC) material. The material is renowned for outstanding strength and is widely used in products that may need to withstand impact. We also use stainless steel clips to attach the body of the light to the diffuser. All the Climate Non Corrosive lights carry an IK08 rating which means they have been impact tested. How long will they last? All our Climate Non-Corrosive Luminaires come with a five-year warranty, typically lasting upwards of fifty thousand hours of use. What's the Colour temperature of the light? These lights are set to 4000K (kelvin) providing a neutral white look and feel ideal for production environments where people are busy working. How bright are these lights and are they efficient? Yes, the Climate Non-Corrosive features high-power LED chips providing increased efficacy of up 121Llm/cW. This means you get a nice bright light that is efficient and cost-effective to run. What colour is the body of the light? They come in a practical grey finish, and the diffuser has an opal appearance that reduces glare. What are the main benefits to electrical installers and contractors considering these lights for their next installation? The biggest benefit to our Climate Non-Corrosive, surface mount lights is the ease of installation. The Climate Non-Corrosive range is very quick to install because of its innovative design. The LEDs are embedded into the diffuser which means there's no removal of delicate tubes or metal gear trays to finally gain access to the terminal block for wiring. You simply unclip the diffuser, wire up the terminal block and connect the plug-and-play connectors, then clip the diffuser back on and you are done. Our Speed Fit installation makes installing the Climate Non Corrosive light range much easier but it also helps to prevent any accidental damage to the light while you're working onsite, as the LEDs and the PCB are protected by a tough polycarbonate diffuser.
