Mixing tank CFD simulation webinar showing how to simplify geometry in MSC Apex and to run free surface and motion CFD simulation in scFLOW. Dr Steffan Evans from Evotech CAE shows how easy and fast CAD simplification and geometry preparation are with MSC Apex. Dr Robert Dul from CFDEngineering UK shows how to set up rotating motion and free fluid surface simulations in scFLOW. Steff defeatures a very detailed mixing tank geometry and Robert uses this initial design to run a simulation. After analysing results, Steff modifies the design and sends the new model to Robert for a new simulation run. We compare results of both designs in scFLOW showing free fluid surface properties and torque graphs.
