In this video, Dr. Viveka Kumar, Senior Director - Cath Lab, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, will discuss the dual antiplatelet therapy in acute myocardial infarct (MI). He explains that any acute MI with any form of treatment such as medical management, stent or bypass surgery has to have a dual antiplatelet therapy for at least 12 months to avoid the recurrence of the events.
