For the past month, the Gold Coast City Council have got this big sand dredge from Denmark to pump some life back into our beaches. The dredge reportedly costs $1 Million a week but it seems to be doing its job and in spectacular fashion, with the big sand hose shooting hundreds of tonnes of sand every hour! while being a spectacle many went to the beach to see. This was the furthest flight over water I have done with it being over 1km away!
