In this long one (sorry, I wanted to cover this thoroughly), I show you how I converted my Sony FX3 XLR Handle into a modular XLR-K3M XLR box that can be mounted remotely, or be used on other MI Shoe enabled cameras (like the A7SIII or A7R4, etc). If you don't plan to use the XLR handle in the configuration it is in now (only able to be used as a top handle on the FX3), or you are looking to increase the functional use of the XLR box that is mounted on the top handle, you might find this video helpful. While this is not a very difficult conversion, if you are not very careful, you will damage the XLR handle components.
