CataractCoach™ 2339: flipping up the epi-nuclear shell in cataract surgery

During phaco we often get separation of the endo-nucleus from the epi-nuclear shell. This can be intentional such as with hydro-delineation or it can be incidental as we break up the cataract. Some surgeons use a technique to avoid creating an epi-nuclear shell such as the Rosatelli spin. Creating an epi-nuclear shell can provide a margin of safety since the endo-nucleus can be removed as the capsular bag is shielded by the epi-nuclear shell. When you are ready to remove this epi-nuclear shell, what is the best way to phaco-aspirate it? I prefer to flip it up out of the capsular bag using the chopper after initial grip is achieved by vacuum suction. This video shows the technique that I often use.
