What are Iranian trains like? Pretty awesome!! We took the Kupe class night train from Mashhad to Tehran and were very impressed. We shared our 4 berth cabin with a very friendly Iranian mother and son. Although there was a language barrier, we got along very well. Iranian people are incredibly kind and friendly. It was a wonderful experience. This was just one of many train journeys we took whilst travelling from Europe to Asia and back again on Our Grand Tour of the Eurasian Continent.
