They get a lot of complements on them. Thanks!" - Lisa Shop at http://www.BelieveinitApparel.com ______________________________________________________ Key Points: 1 - Make time to train! Learn to manage your schedule in this OSA video by clicking here. Between school, which comes first, homework, family and social life it can be time consuming to make time to train. Learn to schedule your sessions at the beginning of every week. 2. Do the best you can with what you have around. Do not think you need nice fields to train on your own. Train in your backyard, at a neighborhood park or wear tennis shoes and practice in your driveway. Winners make it happen. Don't make excuses. Be careful of course and don't be training in the street! 3. Plan your sessions! If you go to the "Videos" page of OnlineSoccerAcademy.com we have 200+ videos to help you. An example of a session for you could be 30 minute Session #6 followed by 10 minutes of chipping technique, 10 minutes of fitness with the ball and 10 minutes of juggling. That would be a solid one hour session. The point is to have a plan ahead of time. Don't go just goof around out there with no agenda when you can plan ahead, be organized and get a great session in. 4. Take 1-2 rest days a week. First of all you should only train because you want to, not because you have too. Not all players have to want to go play in college or go pro but if you have big goals and you want to train a lot then that is great but be careful not to over train. I recommend training on the field no more then 1-3 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Even pros take off days, make sure you do too so you don't burn out mentally and physically. This includes your team sessions. So if you have team practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and games on Saturday then I'd suggest training on your own Monday and Wednesday and take Friday and Sunday off. Or just Sunday. 5. Show up early & stay late at team practices. Arrive early at your team practices and do some juggling and ball work. Stay late and work on your game too. I'm not talking hours early, I'm talking 15-30 minutes early. Don't just get there and stand around shooting from 18 yards out while you wait for your coach to say its time to start. This is not time well spent That's it for this OSA video. Remember small improvements daily equal big improvements over time. Training on your own pays off. I have received thousands of comments from players telling me how much they improved since they started working hard at their game and having the Believe in it® attitude. I look forward to receiving a comment like that from you one day!
