In this video I’ll look at the biggest mistake made by young filmmakers embarking on short films through a concept I call: don’t touch the fish, focus on the rice. I’ll go over my early experience of making a short called 'Windstil' and outline basic principles to follow if you want to produce a quality, successful student film.
