Just to correct some information I see on the internet: Don't remove your wheel Don't jack up your car Don't remove your interior Don't just pull on your antenna to remove it You will need: Antenna mast 10mm socket rachet Flathead screwdriver to remove clips OR some more violent tools with replacement clips (recommended) Step 1: Unscrew the metal part on top of the antenna. Step 2: Remove the clips holding the plastic trim in your wheel arches, Just remove enough clips that you can fit your hand inside the gap. Step 3: Find and remove the bolt that holds the antenna assembly. Feed your hand up and left, you will find the bracket and a stud. The bold is on the stud. Step 4: Remove the assembly and feed it through the gap behind the guard. Don't worry about the cable. Step 5: Find the motor cable (the shorter one), remove the connector from the assembly. Step 6: Put the whole thing on the floor and remove the screws to remove the plastic cover. The mast may be held by another screw next to it, remove that. Step 7: Pull the cover off. Remove the plastic gear. Replace the mast. If the mast doesn't want to stay in the housing, use some electric tape on the last section of the mast, right under the metal sleeving that touches the housing. That should stop the last section extending out. Step 8: put everything back together. don't forget the seal that goes on top of your antenna. if the gear slips, put a piece of a coke can where the gear meet, works for me.
