FUN FACT: The MCE Destination Dispatch system installed here is the same one currently in use at the Washington Monument! (feel free to use this fact)    • Delaware Destination Dispatch Traction Mod...   (by ‪@AdazElevatorz‬ ) Looks like the elevator mods at the Florida Capitol buildings (old and new) have been completed! According to the elevator records, these are "OTIS ELEVATOR COMPANY DBA:COASTAL ELEVATOR," and apparently "DBA" is short for "doing business as." In the old capitol building, the Dover hydraulic unit was upgraded with Innovation Prestige in 2021. It sounds like it received a new hydraulic motor, but I cannot be for certain on that. In the new capitol building, each main bank was consolidated into one, single system. You can place low-rise calls in front of high-rise elevators and vice-versa. Previously, each bank had a separate call station. The system seems to be programmed to prioritize calls based on the old low/mid/high rise systems despite floors not being skipped. This allows better traffic flow through the building. These were replaced with Innovation Universal buttons, with an MCE destination operating panel on the outside. Regardless, the new elevators are FAST and FURIOUS... FAST: The Low-Rise cars go at least 300-400 FPM, High-Rise at least 700-800 FPM FURIOUS: The main passenger cars have a 4000 pound capacity. My best guesses at the new car call priorities (pretend P is -1, LL is 0, and PL is 1: Car A: -1 to 21 (Priority as Service) Car B: 0 to 22 (Priority Local High-Rise) at ~700-800 FPM Car C: 0 to 21 (Priority Local High-Rise, except 22) Car D: 0 to 22 (Priority Express High-Rise) Cars E-H: 0 to 19 (Priority Mid-Rise) Cars I-L: 0 to 5 (Priority Low-Rise) at ~300-500 FPM View of the elevators during the modernization (by Floridian Elevators):    • Modded Haughton Traction High Rise Elevato...   Also shown in this video is a view of the Florida House of Representatives on an official tour. At the time of the video, you could get a view of the Florida House and Senate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2 PM. I actually learned quite a bit about the chambers after I ended the video, such as intricate design features utilized in the paintings. This is a quite unique complex. Around 2019-2021 is when significant changes started to be made, such as the new west entrance park, elevator modernizations, blue-colored building signage, tours, security, etc. I recommend you check this place out if you can!
