It gained independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Yugoslavia. It is a landlocked country bordering Kosovo[e] to the northwest, Serbia to the north, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south, and Albania to the west. Tourism plays a significant role in the economy of North Macedonia accounting for 6.7% of its GDP in 2016. Thus, it is a large factor of the nation's economy. The country's large abundance of natural and cultural attractions make it suitable for tourism. But the questions is, is it really worth visiting? Do they have the factors of a good touristic country? Let's start this vlog at Canyon Matka. Matka, meaning womb, is a canyon located west of central Skopje, North Macedonia. Covering roughly 5,000 hectares, it is one of the most popular outdoor destinations in North Macedonia and is home to several medieval monasteries. The Matka Lake within the Matka Canyon is the oldest artificial lake in the country. Lots of activities can be done here...and hey! watch out to those vendors...gwapos the are! And then let's also go to Lake Ohrid. Lake Ohrid is a lake which straddles the mountainous border between the southwestern part of North Macedonia and eastern Albania. It is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. Aside from these, let us all give some reviews to the hotel in Canyon Matka and the Villa Mina Apartment in Lagadin, Ohrid. Do you like to eat fish? How about eating it the traditional Macedonian way of eating the Ohrid trout? This fish is well-known for a brown trout crossed with an Atlantic salmon taste. And is the symbol of Ohrid.
