(For full comparison document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J...) Part 9... this is it. Last piece. I’m pretty sure I’ve explained it already that I was unable to wear the Guardian in order to do a true side by side comparison (thanks to a second dead updated transmitter), so I’ll keep the explanation short. In order to provide numbers for the 670G Manual Mode portion of the comparison, I had to pull examples from my logs—in the form of a post-hoc analysis. I truly would’ve preferred to have taken a look at the end result in my blood sugar following some of the suspends in these examples, but it was not an option. I have no hesitation in saying that the suspend durations in Manual Mode were overkill, and the common result was hyperglycemia. Sometimes mild, sometimes ridiculous, and mostly unnecessary. Again, this is not to say all diabetics will have the same response to these types of suspends. I’m only saying it was not a good fit for me, and the suspends I currently receive in Basal-IQ are more flexible, more forgiving, and are landing me some very reasonable numbers.
