Pain Of Salvation - Sisters (Lyrics)

This Pain of Salvation album (split in two parts) portrays different characters going through moments of hard choices and painful situations in life in many different contexts. On this song specifically we have a man who's at a party sexually desiring the sister of the girl he's in love with, probably his wife. The whole is about the moments of tension and discomfort felt by him while he knows that if he surrenders to his desires it'll mean the end of his family and, consequently, the end of his life as he knows it. What makes the song even more deep and inciting is the fact that, at least his point of view, it seems like the girl is also feeling the same thing, and by are trying to say goodbye and go away from each other before they end up doing something they'll regret, but it's not that easy to go against their instincts.
