I got lost alone during my first 24 hours in Abidjan 🇨🇮. From navigating unfamiliar streets to trying Attiéké for the first time, this day really tested me. The first 24 hours in Abidjan were quite overwhelming, amazing and somewhat unforgettable. Shortly after I arrived, I found myself almost lost and alone especially because I could barely understand the language and city. The language, the traffic, the pace, all felt new all at once but the people were really nice and helpful. Somewhere between trying to find my way and calming my nerves, I decided to try Attiéké, one of Côte d’Ivoire’s most popular dishes and it immediately changed my mood for the first day.
