Join us as we take you to 7 more great hikes around the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Lower Creek Falls is a beautiful waterfall in the desert. I recommend going early in the morning so you do not have a lot of people and it is cooler. Toadstools Trailhead is a fun, 1.8 mile hike, off of the 89 highway. Lick Wash Trail is a nice hike with a little slot canyon at the beginning of the hike along with lots of pines and great scenery. Bull Valley Gorge is a fun little hike that requires some scrambling over rocks and is a fun slot canyon/gorge to see. Escalante Petrified Forest State Park is a nice state park to stay at. It has running water and warm showers. From the parking lot there is a nice hike with Petrified wood and view of the reservoir. Near Kanab, the Sand Caves, and Belly of the Dragon are two, short, fun hikes to check out.
