It could be great for a beginner, but I recommend the RTF version for that Can be converted into a Blade Hovercraft or quad Larger 220 batteries work There is potential to FPV this quadcopter wing Cons: Short flight times , even with the 220's, but they're not quite as short This is how Horizon Hobby and Blade describe this Quadcopter Flying Wing: "It's a blast to fly micro RC planes and drones - so imagine the fun you'll have flying both with only one model! For a different fixed wing experience, I have my eyes on the E-flite V-22 Osprey. So far a lot of crashes have been reported, just like the real thing, so we shall see what I do on that front!
