Check out the other video showing a detailed procedure on accessing and cleaning the prism assembly. These are just additional tips that might be helpful... Cleaning the Binocular prisms will make your view clearer without the fog or cloudy aspect that accumulates over a long period of time on the Haag-Streit binoculars. Just take care to make identifying marks so that you can return the prism assembly to the exact same position that it was before. If not, you may have to adjust the alignment by loosening and tightening the smaller screws to move the prisms while looking through the binoculars on a focus rod. Important Detail Remember to remove the LARGER screws to remove the prism assembly for cleaning purposes. The SMALLER screws are for adjusting alignment! *Do not take the cross bar off of a Takagi Marco binocular head prism assy. They are NOT glued down as the Haag-Streit prisms are! Don't ask me how I know that.😮
