Sculpting a 3D Flower Using Acrylic

Bonjour Virginie here and today I’m going to create a 3D rose with acrylic. I’ve already sculpted the nail and I’m going to buff off the shine a little. I’m going to double dip in white and pastel pink and create a small crescent shape to create the petals. Use the bulk of the brush to flatten out the acrylic to make the petal to shape the petal and make it larger and more realistic. Continue making petals in a flower shape using the same technique. The petals should get smaller the closer they get to the centre of the flower. For the centre of the flower, place a small bead in the centre and let it dry a little. Use the tip of your brush to create a small hole. Use Clear acrylic to adhere a crystal to the centre. Next, create some leaves in the same way we did the petals but in a more pointed, narrow shape. Use a spatula to create the veins. I’m then going to use white acrylic paint to add extra details like lines and dots. I’m then going to Top Coat the nail, avoiding the acrylic.
