1/6 New Bright Jeep TJ Rubicon conversion : part 1 overview and progress so far

First part of what I expect to be a series of videos detailing the modifications I am making to a 1/6 New Bright Jeep TJ Wrangler toy car. These bodies are quite rare and do not come up very often on EBay. I am fortunate enough to have 2 of these - both sourced in the US. This video is more of an introduction, showing what have done so far. The main transmission and running gear is Axial / Wraith based. I am using a Spektrum six channel pistol grip radio - the DX6R - using the following functions: 1. Steering / in future turning drivers head and moving steering wheel; 2. Throttle - linked via a switched mix to engine sound unit; 3. 2 speed gear box / in future to shifter lever inside the car; 4. Main front headlights (also switches power to the sound generator); 5. Indicators (turn signals); and 6. Separate channel for engine sound with mix from the throttle. I expect this project to take some time to complete (body work mainly).
